I want to start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year!! My weight loss journey has been going pretty good. I’m trying to balance challenging myself and not overdoing it, which we all know that I am good at doing. I decided this year would be my year no matter how low the light is at first. This year I will wear a white bikini on the beaches of Mexico.
Now it’s about getting there.
Week 1 & 2: Starting The New Year With A Bang!!
*Week 1*
I decided to start the New Year with POPSUGAR Fitness 35 Minute Nike HIIT Workout. I have not done this workout before and I would have to say I enjoy this workout. This workout was a lot of fun. You use weights and like most of POPSUGAR workout you do have modification. I did use some of the modifications and I was proud that I was able to keep up with the workout. This workout is a ten out of ten.

The following workout is a workout that stays in rotation, and that’s LWR’s 7 Minute Drop A Dress Size workout. The workout stays in my rotation because this workout is short (twelve minutes, including the stretch after the workout). I like that, in such a short time, she mixed toning with a little cardio. The following workout is one of my favorite: LWR walking workout. The workout is the 20 Minute Walk At Home for weight loss. This indoor walking workout was alot of fun she had trees (because it was springtime in the UK where she live) and the toning exercises tell you exactly the body parts you are working on. Those twenty minutes really fly while doing the workouts. The workout is a ten out of ten.

The following workout was a new one to the Fiton workout, but one of my favorite trainers is doing the training. The workout is called 24 Hour Fit: Interval Strength. This workout was challenging and fun at first I fumble alot. There was a new techinique that change the strength training game. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the workout but over time I have grown to really love this workout and I will give it a ten out of ten.
I have no visual for the first time I did this workout. But the workout can be found on the Fiton app under 24 Hour Fit: Interval Strength.
The following workout is a workout I put on pause because I want to challenge myself. and that is walking workout. The workout is BurpeeGirl 40 Minute Walking For Weight Loss. The reason I put other walking workout on pause? I want to try other challenges. But I love BurpeeGirl workout and I love the challenge of a forty minute workout. As usual BurpeeGirl workout did not disappointed. The workout is in four rounds after every round there is a water break. The workout was alot of fun and it deserves a ten out of ten.

The followwing workout was a repeat which is 24 hour Fit: Interval Strength. I would love to say I did better this time around but I still struggle with the move. I add HIIT boxing this workout was little more successful than the interval strength which makes no sense because this is dealing with choreography. Not one of my strong point but this workout is a lot of fun and a ten out of ten.

The following workout is a double up of LWR’s walking workout. I redid the 20 Minute Walk At Home For Weight Loss. I also did the Walking Workout Walk And Tone. What make this walking workout different well you are in the snow but in France. I admitred that she was able to able to do the workout in the snow. The moves are alot of fun and challenging .The workout is a ten out of ten.

*Week 2*
I start the week out with a kettlebell workout. The workout is a Full Body Kettlebell Workout. I don’t remember ever doing the trainer workout before; however, I like the workout; it’s not a long workout (20 minutes) but I enjoy the workout because of the floor work (which I don’t like) I will give the workout a 8 out of 10.

I start doing LWR playlist number one, and I begin the playlist with her Winter Wonderland Workout. This workout is only seven minutes and mostly cardio. I enjoy it because one of the workouts is running with the wolves, and you will have to dodge snowballs, which, ironically, the workout is a lot of fun, and I give this workout a ten out of ten.

Th following workout is Series two 7 Minute Workout. This workout was the sequel to your belly fat workout and one of her most successful workouts. The first time I did the workout I didn’t like it. However, this time I enjoy this workout. I’m giving this workout a 10 out of 10.

The next workout was another cardio infused workout. 7 Minute Virtual Fitness Workout like the Winter Wonderland it has a cool background. This time around you are in the snow. I enjoy all of the workout especially hiking in the snow. I will give this workout a ten out of ten.

The workout works on my problem areas. I love LWR’s abs workout because a lot of her workouts are standing workouts. LWR’s 10 Minute Ab Workout did not disappoint at all. The abs workout is a standing workout; however, some of the workouts you can do sitting on a stool. You take each workout by each side. I love this abs workout, and like I said about her abs workouts, you work your abs from different angles. I give this workout a ten out of ten.

The following two days were Fiton workouts. The first day was 24 hours: Interval Strength. I was getting better, but I still struggled with the new strength training, mainly because I am rhythmic challenges. The second day went a little better. I will always struggle with anything using rhythm. However, my HIIT Boxing workout was coming together great, which is very ironic because there is more rhythm used in HIIT boxing than in the interval strength workout. Either way, this workout still gets a ten out ten from me.T
The following workout is a workout that stays in my LWR’s rotation, and the workout is Full Body Sculpt. What I love about this workout is mixing a little cardio with strength training . I really feel like this workout really helps you get ready to look good in your dress. This workout is a ten out of ten.

Lately, my anxiety has been acting up, and I realize that I need to go back to doing yoga. I need yoga because it helps me with my yoga, and sometimes it helps me sleep better. I found this yoga practice that’s for anxiety and helping with sleep I did this practice twice in one day (keep in mind I work graveyard) both time it help ed me relax. I also love that she practiced on her bed and she used a big pillows. This practice is a ten out of ten.

The following workout I decide to take it easy due to the long workout from the day before. I did a new workout by BodyFit By Amy 10 Minute Cardio Pilates. Since I fell off the exercise spectrum a long time ago, Pilates and I do not have a good relationship. However, cardio pilates is something different, and I enjoy it, and you will feel the burn immediately like the regular pilates. I quite enjoy doing the cardio pilates. The workout is a ten out of ten.

In continuing with my yoga practice I practice weight loss yoga and even the beginning level of yoga is HARD!! This practice is no different for it to be level 1 and it hurt afterwards. I do enjoy the practice and it’s definitely ten out of ten.

I start a new week doing a workout that has a love-and-hate relationship. And that’s a step aerobics well basic step. A few years ago, I realized that I had to start at the beginning. So, I put my ego and pride aside and begin at the beginning; I’m getting better with the steps. It gets your heart rate up, and you can jumpstart your metabolism. This workout is a ten out of ten.
The following workout is from growwithjo 3 Mile Fat Burning Indoor Walking Workout. I loved her walking workout when I first started doing the indoor walking workout growwithjo was my go-to. This walking workout did not disappoint. I’m proud that I was able to do forty-five minutes consistently. I will give this workout a ten out of ten.

The following workout is one of my favorite LWR’s workout. The workout is from #Fitglam Calorie Burning Arm Toning And Bust Lift. Before I did any LWR bust lift workout, I didn’t believe that you could actually lift the breast without a surgeon. However, after doing her bust lift, I noticed a difference, and I also see that in my sports bras, I went from wearing a 5 LUX to a 4 LUX. Since then, I’ve been a believer in bust lift workouts. LWR, as usual, finds an exciting way to work the bust: a pillow. I know that sounds unusual, but you will feel it. I give this workout a ten out of ten.

I decided to give yoga another try. I can’t tell you how many times I have given up yoga since I became plus-size. I think it’s my go and pride once again. When I was in my twenties and smaller, i took yoga classes on Saturdays. I even got good enough where I could take heated yoga (I highly recommend it). When I start having car trouble I stop going and never start back. When I deicde to go back to practicing yoga of course I was out of practice. However, ego and pride had me thinking I could pick up where I left off. Well that left to various different little springs and me quitting. The last time I don’t know why I quit.
I have the most challenging time cutting off my brain and off and on. I’ve also been anxious since I was fourteen. One of the things that help is stretching and yoga. I decided to give yoga another try. I decided to try again, but this time smarter. I need help with my anxiety. I looked up yoga for anxiety on YouTube and came across a video called Relaxing Bedtime Yoga For Anxiety, Insomnia, & Nocturnal Panic Attack. I fell in love with this practice, and what I love is that it helps me with my sleeping. I highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from these issues or if you want to relax after a long day.

On staying on the subject of my yoga practice. I got back into morning yoga. Although my job now is nowhere near as stressful as my old job. Life is stressful at time. I went back to doing one of my favorite practices, 5 Minute Yoga. I love the practice it’s a good stretch for starting the day. This practice is ten out of ten.

I decided to try something new, well, not new. I might have tried this workout before , but I don’t remember. The workout is a 25-minute BOSU cardio workout for fat-burning and tone. Of course, I didn’t have a BOSU ball; I purchased one on Amazon. I was nervous about doing the workout, but I enjoyed it, and I took my time with the moves. I decided to go back to incorporating my walking workout. Another excellent walking workout I love is from a YouTube creator, BurpeeGirl. Her 40 Min Walking Workout For Weight Loss. I love this workout and it’s alot of fun. The forty minute goes pretty quickly. The move are pretty easy (and that’s coming from a rhythm challenge person). The workout is in four segments with water breaks in the middle. This workout is a ten out of ten.

The following workout was hard but I enjoy the challenge. The workout is Intermediate/Advanced cardio, resistance and Abs workout! Low Impact Option. At first, I thought, what the hell did my ego get me into because first impression: I felt like I was barely keeping up. This workout is from the TeamBody Project page on YouTube. To my knowledge, the following workout is a workout I hadn’t done before. I’m giving a disclaimer because I forget many things until I remember. I forgot about doing Pilates when I was smaller until I bought a beginner Pilates DVD in 2010. Anywho, the workout is BodyFit By Amy’s 25-Minute Bosu Cardio Workout. I know that bosu ball is good for working your core. This year, I decided I’d get my stomach right. So i decided to give the workout a try. Well, the first time I did the Bosu workout, although I made a lot of modifications, I was still struggling with it. I thought that this workout was all about working my core. Well, my body was sore all over. I was exhausted, sweaty and sore afterwards. I give this workout a ten out of ten.

And twenty-five seconds of different movements. In between rounds you receive an active break. All and all this workout is exhausting but you will get an all over body workout. *Week 4*
I begin the week with LWR’s 25-minute Cardio And Abs. I love this workout because it is a mixed walking workout (which is a lot of fun) with working on my abs. The workout breaks into 50, 40, & 30 seconds. You will begin with walking for, say then, 50 seconds and various abs movements until you get down to the final 30 seconds. You will also need a chair and pillows. The workout is a ten out of ten.

I’m trying to get back into yoga, but as I said, this time, I’m trying not to compete with old Danielle, which is hard, but I used yoga to help with my anxiety, stretch out, and, most importantly, part to help with insomnia. The following workout is Cathe Friedrich’s basic step. I think the reason the basic step is going better is like yoga; there isn’t a competition with young Danielle. The workout is about getting into better shape and being a healthier version of myself. Anyone who knows me knows that I am rhythm-challenged and it takes me longer to catch on to moves. I like this workout and I finally got the moves down. The workout is a ten out of ten.
I fell down the Tik Tox store rabbit hole and bought myself a mini stepper. The first time I did this stepper I just workout on it and talk on the phone with my homegirl. I enjoyed the first time I did my mini stepper.
The following workout is Popsugar’s 35 Minute Nike HIIT workout. This workout was hard even with doing the modification, but I enjoyed the challenge. The workout will definitely make you sweat and an excellent all-over body workout. A ten out of ten workout.

Until recently, I hadn’t heard about cardio pilates. I used to like Pilates when I was younger but once I got older and gained more weight. Pilates weren’t exactly fun for me to do now. So when cardio pilates came across FYP I was intrigued. The 10 minute cardio pilates workout is done by one of my favorites pages by BodyFit By Amy. I enjoy the workout I like that it mixed my two favorite things: strength training and cardio. If you are like me and just beginning pilates or you want to try doing it again. I decided to find the mini stepper workout, and I found a few of them. The workout is a 20 Min Mini Stepper Boxing Workout For Beginners. I enjoyed this workout alone with working out on the mini steppers; you do a little weight training, and after the workout, you will be tired, but you will have a good workout. The next workout is another mini-stepper workout. This one is a 10-minute beginner mini-stepper. Unlike the boxing workout, this is a straight mini-stepper workout. Which i kind of like, but i feel like I push myself harder with the 10 minutes. I like the workout, and it is another mini workout. It’s a ten out of ten.

The following workout challenged me. Which i wanted to do, but at the same time, the first time, i was ultimately out of breath. The workout’s name is Intermediate/Advanced Cardio, Resistance And Abs Workout. My ego thought that this workout would be a good idea. Was it actually a good idea? I’m not sure i was able to keep up but exhausted afterward. I will give this workout a 10 out of 10. However, my level is still out.

The next workout is another mini-stepper workout. The workout is 15 Min HIIT Cardio Mini Steppers Workout. Along with the mini stepper you have hit exercise. I love HIIT workout a good way to work on your metabolism. The workout is a ten out of ten.

For the final workout for January/beginning of February. I ended it with Fiton’s Total Knockout and Hot Mess Express. I totally love the workout, and the trainer, Kenta Seki, is one of my favorites. I love Hot Mess Express. I love mixing strength training and cardio, which is one of my favorite things. And the total knockout, I love it because boxing is the ultimate workout. I don’t have pictures or anything, but I highly recommend it, and i give this workout a ten out of ten.
All and all I’m pretty proud of January’s workout. I was off to a good start.
